One of the Commissioner's primary functions is to promote public awareness of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act.

The Commissioner promotes the content and spirit of the Act in a variety of ways, including attending public engagements and eventsgiving speeches and writing articles.  We also provide an enquiries service to anyone working in the media.
